John and I went to nursing school together. We spent a great deal of time together being members of a small group that formed as a study group etc. With only 3-years difference in our age, we naturally had much in common and instantly became friends. Our paths have continued to cross occasionally over the years, usually with John calling me up out of the blue to see how I'm doing! John truly was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I was floored when another classmate of ours notified me of his passing. I would like to say to Johns family and friends that John had an impact on everyone he met, just by the sheer force of his smile and out-going personality. I can no longer tell you the names of every person in our class, but I guarantee that everyone in our class remembers John. No one is perfect, but he really was a great guy and an awesome Nurse and the world is a lessor place with his passing.

I worked with John for several years at Meadows Hospital and enjoyed him very much. He was always upbeat and very professional. God Bless his children and family. We miss him and I am forever great full to have been a friend and co-worker of Johns.

I worked with John for several years and always admired his level of confidence and skills as a nurse. As a nurse and supervisor, he was always fair minded. We were all part of the Coffee Correctional Facility medical family. His presence was palpable - everyone knew when he came into the department. He always spoke with such love and pride about his family. I was his friend on Facebook, but did not have the opportunity to experience his friendship in the community. My condolences to his family, and my wish is that they remember his energy and strength and draw from that at this very difficult time.

I was abundantly blessed, by having John as a coworker and a friend. His spirit of love, joy and unconditional acceptance will long be remembered. John was determined, to make life better for everyone, as he moved down the path, to which he had been called.
